What to expect on your first visit - Newbury Chiropractor

An initial chiropractic consultation is split into 2 appointments. The first appointment is 45 mins long, during which we take a detailed case history about your presenting symptoms and ask questions about your general health. You will then receive a thorough examination, assessing your nerves, muscles and joints.

If your Chiropractor requires X-rays in order to help diagnose and treat your condition, they can arrange for these to be taken privately or via your GP.

The second part of the initial consultation lasts 30 minutes and is called a results session. This is where we will discuss our diagnosis with you, explain what was found on your examination, discuss the recommended treatment plan and how your condition can be helped. Once your condition has been explained thoroughly to you, and with your consent, treatment can begin. Treatment is included in the results session.

If Chiropractic care is not suitable for you, your chiropractor will refer you to your GP or another specialist.

  Natacha is the best masseuse out there. Regularly sorting my legs out for all the half marathons, training runs and upcoming London Marathon.   Hello all! I have a back muscle problem. I was considering seeing a chiropractor, but I wanted to avoid making a hasty decision, so I've scheduled a massage with Natacha first. She is extremely professional. First, she assessed the situation by taking my history. Afterwards, we've reached the conclusion that a couple of massage sessions to loosen up the muscles would be most beneficial, which I could already tell from the first session.   I can highly recommend Teja at newbury Chiropractic Centre. After being in pain for many years with my back/hips/legs and various visits to my GP, hospital and physio I thought I would just have to
'put up with the pain' as nothing they did really helped.
I visited Teja, with if im honest not much hope of improvement. But after a comprehensive assessment and a suggested course of treatment I can honestly say she has helped me no end!

  Really friendly staff who make you feel totally at ease.Only had 4 sessions for back/hip pain with Teja so far and I can really see a significant difference with less pain. Looking forward to continuing treatment. I highly recommend.
